Favre is a 1997 Elite Hanoverian mare by the Elite Hanoverian stallion, Walldorf. Walldorf is one of the top scoring stallions imported to the US with all 3 gaits scoring 9+. Favre was inspection champion as a weanling against colts and fillies at her foal inspection. The German judge said that it was foals like her that all Germans strive to breed for. Favre also won her classes at the Raleigh breedshow as a weanling and as a 2 year old. She received top scores to earn her Elite Mare Candidate status as a 3 year old with the American Hanoverian Society in 2000. After having two babies she completed her Mare Performance Test (MPT) in 2004 winning the high score for the day with an overall score of 7.44. With her high jumping scores demonstrated in her MPT coupled with her bloodlines, Favre was selected into the NA Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program (JBP). We have bred Favre in the past with dressage and jumping prospects in mind. Whatever the breeding, all her foals have been very athletic with excellent gaits. They are now winning in the show ring and receiving all sorts of awards and recognition (see our News). After a riding career, Favre returned to the breeding shed in 2006.

Favre has been bred twice to the young jumping star Balou de Rouet (Baloubet du Rouet/Continue) owned by Paul Schockemohle. He has been producing outstanding offspring demonstrating his ability to pass on his nice type, movement and jump. We love those versatile stallions! He's been a wonderful cross with Favre. Both foals, Bada Bling and Bebop Balou have been inspection winners. Look for them in the ring soon!

Favre has also been bred 3x to the Fabriano line. Once directly to Fabriano himself and twice to the well know Hanoverian stallion Fabuleux (Fabriano/Augustinus xx/Absatz). Full Scoop (Fabriano) has scored nothing lower than 8's on gaits and won the Regaion I GAIG Championships before being sidelined with EPM. Favulous and Fine Design are by Fabuleux. Favulous is moving quickly through the the levels in the dressage arena and was one of the top 4yo in the country in 2011. In 2013 she debuted at 3rd level. We welcomed Fine Design this year and are very excited about her. Lots of scope and suspension and very quiet temperament. We plan to add her to our band of broodmares to stay here at Kingston Farm.

Favre's colt by Rosario is an outstanding mover. Rosario has a dressage breeding index of 146. Will be under saddle soon!

For 2015, we have followed our dressage interest and bred Favre to the upcoming star, Fiderbach. This should be an exciting cross!

Favre's Sire: Walldorf
Walldorf was imported to the US in 1995. He was 1st out of 26 in his stallion testing. All three basic paces were given a grade above 9.0 -- Jumping was rated 8.0 -- Total score 149.26. By 1990 he was already the second most successful sire of dressage horses in his age group. His sire Watzmann produced Walzerkonig who was an Olympic winner in Seoul. Walldorf was trained to intermediate level dressage.

=> There's alot to say about this guy. Comments from his inspection: "This is a Rosario colt born in April, well developed, nice head and neck, nice muscle. He has four correct legs as well and a good topline with the withers going nicely in the back. Top movement, forwards and upwards with covering alot of ground so I would say he's a nice, nice colt and his very good movement."
