Bada Bling is a beautiful 2008 16.2h Hanoverian mare by Balou du Rouet (Baloubet du Rouet/Continue) out of an Elite Hanoverian and Jumper Breeding Program approved dam. Top foal at her inspection with accolades for her conformation, movement, pedigree and presence. Jumping is definitely her forte and she LOVES it! This girl has what it takes to go all the way to the top and she is already getting noticed wherever she goes. Has jumped up to 3'6" and scoring 8's in dressage. Very level headed, well mannered and people oriented. She is a barn favorite! Currently schooling First level with 3 lovely, uphill gaits. Has been schooled through gymnastics and grids up to 3’ with ease and absolutely loves it. Doing 3’-3’6” course work. Showing phenomenal jumping potential! Also schooled cross country including water and ditches with ease. Bling has an incredible work ethic and loves her job. Very talented mare, high end prospect! She will begin her competition career in 2014! She has loads of potential and plenty of scope to do any discipline.
Top Filly at her Inspection and Deemed the Perfect Package!
Bling as a foal: Dr. Ludwig Christmann who has been the managing breeding
director in Germany thought that Bling was the "perfect package". He was impressed with her movement for a jumper foal
and had this to say about Bling:
"So this is the type of movement you get nowadays when you breed jumpers. This is a top filly. You all saw her. Very good
conformation, really good type, she has presence, beautiful head and neck, excellent topline, correct in her legs and excellent
in her movement. So what else do you want? ... Best foal so far. This is a Jumper breeding program and Balou du Rouet is a son
of Baloubet who is of course also in the Jumper breeder program. Well, it was a very good match."
Stellar Bloodlines :
Bling's sire, Balou du Rouet is already a successful competition horse at 1.50 m level who is now busy building a reputation as an outstanding
breeding stallion.
Despite his young age, Balou du Rouet is a trademark stallion of international esteem. More than 120 of his descendants are successful at advanced (S)
level; the lifetime competition winnings of his offspring is already 742.880 Euros. Each year his offspring enrich not only the finals of the Bundeschampionship,
but also the international level of the sport. His daughter Baloubetta du Soleil won the international in Rotterdam, the licensed stallion Horse Gym's
Balzaci/Felix Hassmann has had fourteen wins in advanced (S) classes and the licensed stallion Balloon has competed successfully for the Irish team with
his rider Shane Breen. Balou's offspring are highly sought after at foal and riding horse auctions in Germany and abroad and more than 40 of his sons
are licensed.
In 2011 there were four Balou
offspring in the final of the five and six year-old show jumpers in Warendorf. Matched only by Cornet Obolenski, Balou du Rouet was the stallion
with the most offspring competing at the Bundeschampionat in 2008 and, in 2009, three of the Bundeschampionat for Six Year-Old Show Jumping
Horses competitors were Balou du Rouet progeny. Another of his offspring, Bacara, qualified for the World Championship in
Lanaken and was subsequently sold at auction for EUR 140,000. Two of Balou du Rouet's sons were approved at the Southern
German licensing, another top stallion sold at auction in Hanover for EUR 85,000 and another approved son and he now
counts over 30 approved stallions among his offspring. Balous Bellini was champion stallion at the Munich 30-day test in
2009 with a score of 9.27 and a final jumping score of 9.54, and Bobby Brown was runner-up at his performance test in
Adelsheidsdorf with an index of 143.23 points. There's no ignoring the popularity of Balou du Rouet's progeny. Baranus
sold at auction for EUR 120,000 after winning a class at the World Championship in Zangersheide and, in 2007, Be Bravo
sold for the record price of EUR 350,000 at the AOS Auction. His FN breeding index score of 141 puts him among the leading
breeding stallions, despite his young age. In 2012, Balou du Rouet had 2 of the top 3 stallions in the NA Stallion testing with both scoring 10's in jumping.
As a young horse, Balou du Rouet won several classes for young show jumpers and was successful in the final qualifier at the
Bundeschampionship. This kind of success is prescribed by his pedigree. A first-class dam line out of our own performance breeding program is combined with
the world’s number one Baloubet du Rouet, three times World Cup winner and Olympic Champion with Rodrigo Pessoa. Balou du Rouet's maternal grandsire,
Continue, collected lifetime earnings of over EUR 310,000 and his dam line has produced several approved stallions.
Balou du Rouet's sire, Baloubet du Rouet:
Baloubet du Rouet's rise to fame began early at the age of seven when he became French Champion. An incredible competition record followed under the rides
of Nelson and Rodrigo Pessoa. Baloubet du Rouet is the only horse ever to win three World Cup finals in a row: Helsinki 1998, Gothenberg 1999 and
Las Vegas 2000. In the World Cup final held at Gothenberg 2001, he was runner-up, having tied for first place after three days jumping with Tinka's Boy
losing by just 4 faults in the jump off. No horse has achieved such a record in the World Cup series,
3 wins and two seconds in 5 consecutive years. To
add to this magnificent record, he won team bronze medal at the 2001 Sydney Olympics and many Grand Prix and Nations Cups. In 2003 Baloubet won Grand
Prixs at Balve and S- Hertogenbosh . He was also successful in 1.50m and 1.55m classes at Verona, Bremen and Calgary. In 2004 Baloubet had another
extremely succesful year, winning Grand Prixs at Bordeaux, Geneva and Paris Bercy. He also had another 12 top 3 placings on the international circuit
including the gold medal at the 2004 Olympic Games. This Selle Francais stallion is one of the most successful show jumping stallions of all time
and he consistently passes on his performance genes to his offspring. Baloubet du Rouet's sire, Galoubet, was competing at international level at the
age of seven and won team gold at the World Championship in 1982.
